In the VR-Mine project, an informative, interactive virtual mine environment is being developed that simulates various situations in underground mining. The developed program will be offered at European universities offering master’s programs in mineral resource extraction. VR-Mine will be developed in cooperation with the mine Mittersill (Austria) and the Tallinn University (Estonia). An initial application in teaching will take place within the framework of the EIT-certified M. Sc. European Mining Course (EMC) at RWTH Aachen University (Germany) and in the lecture “underground mining” at Tallinn University of Technology.
